If you’re a developer in 2026, AI is probably already sitting next to you at work.
In meetings.
In docs.
In your editor.
But when it comes to car...

I would never use an AI assistant for interviews (I don’t like traditional interviews anyway) but I wouldn’t blame anyone who does. The market is brutal -- companies rely on ATS and somehow it’s only called unethical when candidates do the same. such a controversial topic!
what is your experience? Have you tried any of these tools..
That’s a fair take, and I agree the topic itself is controversial.
To clarify my angle, tools like these make the most sense for preparation, not for running an interview for you. Things like structuring answers, practicing how to explain trade-offs, and getting comfortable thinking out loud under pressure are where the real value is.
I didn’t use any tools during interviews. The focus was always on prep and practice so that when you’re in the actual conversation, you can rely on your own thinking and communication.
And you’re right about the market being brutal; that’s exactly why better preparation tools exist in the first place. The goal should be leveling up how we show our skills.
Wow, such a wonderful article. I'll check out both and use both of them for their advantages.
Thank you! I appreciate that! That’s honestly the right approach; they’re built for different moments, so using each where it fits makes a lot of sense.
Great Hadil
Thank you so much, Kiran
Great breakdown!
Thank you! Glad you found it helpful
“Don’t ask which one is better. Ask where you’re being evaluated.”
That line alone is worth the read. Super clear way to separate meeting assistance from interview performance prep.
Great breakdown 🔥
Glad that line resonated! That distinction is really what changes everything, meetings and interviews are just completely different contexts.
