π Hi dev.to community,
Today Iβm excited (and a bit nervous) to share a product Iβve been working on β Yupcha, an AI-powered interview platform.
β Why Yupcha?
Hiring at scale is hard.
Early-stage screening takes time, effort, and often feels inconsistent across candidates.
Yupcha was built to help teams conduct AI-driven interviews where candidates can be evaluated in real time based on:
Communication clarity
Problem-solving approach
Technical signals (role-specific)
The goal is not to replace humans, but to reduce repetitive screening and make interviews more structured and fair.
π οΈ What Yupcha Does
At a high level, Yupcha focuses on early-stage interview screening.
AI-conducted interviews
Real-time candidate evaluation
Consistent screening experience
Designed for early hiring stages
Itβs still early β learning and improving with every iteration.
π§ Current Stage
This is an early launch.
Weβre actively collecting feedback and refining how much trust and responsibility AI should have in interviews.
Some things Iβm especially curious about:
Where would you trust AI in hiring?
Where should humans always stay in control?
What feels useful vs risky?
π¬ Feedback Welcome
Iβm building this in public and would love honest feedback β positive or critical.
